To the  Castle




To the castle is a short atmospheric animation painted with ink and watercolour made during a month residency in Castelo Branco, Portugal.
During the residency, I was focused on atmospheric storytelling and ways of recreating the experience of being in a place. I particularly focused on how senses other than sight , such as the temperature and the soundscape where impacting my experience of the place.

The work was exhibited in the  Fabrica da Criatividade in Castelo Branco and in Manchester School of Art.
